Besides the fact that the late Robin Williams was one of my favourite actors, this was one of my favourite films in which he played a wonderful character. Dead poet’s society is a film based around education and the difference one teacher can make. Whatever you may think about the story overall, nobody can deny the relationship between Williams and the students within this classroom. One teacher can make a difference within the lives of their students. They can bring out the best in them. They can reach their potential. They can make a student feel that they have something to offer to not only themselves but to everybody within that classroom. That is why I think that this film and especially this clip is so important for educators and students.
