As I have mentioned before, one person that I have the utmost respect for is Malala Yousafzai. I have talked about her work in education for women in a previous post in which I mentioned how incredibly brave and inspirational she was for not only women but everyone. Upon winning the Nobel Peace Prize, Malala has decided to take her work to another level and donate her winnings towards the cause of education.
The Nobel Peace Prize laureate says this will help war affected children of Gaza to get quality education.
Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai has announced to donate her entire winnings from a children’s rights award to help rebuild schools in war-ravaged Gaza. According to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, Malala is going to donate prize money of 50000 dollars of World’s Children’s Prize. Talking to media in Sweden on Wednesday (October 29), she said this will help war affected children of Gaza to get quality education.
